In this paper we report on a new kind of tri-color luminescence glass which can be excited efficiently by long-wavelength ultraviolet. These samples are prepared by melting silicon-borate raw material co-doped with Ce3+/Mn2+, Ce3+/Tb3+ and Eu2+, respectively. Among these doped ions, Mn2+, Tb3+ and Eu2+ are activators and Ce3+ is sensibilizer. Because the sencibilzer can provide energy for activator so the intense tri-color luminescence can be obtained by long-wavelength ultraviolet excitation. At the same time, the role of Al in the fluorescence enhancement, the energy transfer process, and the control of the ions valence are discussed.
